FILIPINO-POLYNESIAN tribal tattoo. the whole concept of my piece is signifying strength. so for strength i had my half sleeve done on my strong arm, which is my right. the basket weaves and turtle back symbolizes protection and strength of myself. the spearheads are symbolizing passiveness. and the basket weaves is symbolizing family bond and protection. anyone can get blasted with any tattoo, just as long as they have a meaning thats real. My first tattoo, in memory of my grandmother who passed away in 2006. Her favorite flower was peach roses; the little gems are opals, which was her birthstone, and the ruby is my birthstone.
Music and life are one.
I got this last year. People call it my “Treetar.” I love how it turned out. Done in Richmond, Va.
